This is a tutorial about excel Conditional Formatting. In this tutorial I am going to show how to use your own formula to define Conditional Formatting. After watching this tutorial you should be able to apply special formatting to a single cell or to a range of cells based on condition/ values of other cells. Also you should be able to copy Conditional Formatting from one cell to others.

Excel Conditional Formatting - Manage Rules

In this video lecture:
1) You have learned how to Edit and Delete Conditional Formatting Rules.
2) You have also learned how to create New Rule and how to change the position of the rules in the “Conditional Formatting Rules Manager” dialog box.

To Edit, Delete, Create New Rule, Move Up & Move Down existing rules, open the Conditional Formatting Rules Manager dialog box. To open it.
Click on the Conditional Formatting Drop Down.
Select Manage Rules option.
Conditional Formatting Rules Manager dialog box appears.

To edit a conditional formatting rule:
Select the Rule at first.
Now click on the Edit Rule button.
In the Edit Formatting Rule dialog box, you can edit the rule.

To delete a conditional formatting rule:
Select that Rule that you want to delete.
Then select the Delete Rule button.

To create a new conditional formatting rule:
Just click on the New Rule button.
In the New Formatting Rule dialog box, you create your new conditional formatting rule.

To move up or move down a conditional formatting rule:
Select the rule that you want to move.
Then click on Move up or Move down button to move up and move down.

So managing conditional formatting rules is easy.
