In this Introduction to Renderman tutorial series we start with the Interface in Maya. The Renderman shelf and menus. IPR rendering using the PXRsurface shader and I brief look at the renderman lights. Renderman is developed by Pixar and a Industry standard when it comes to high end visual effects. Its used by companies such as MPC, ILM and Pixar. I have personally used Renderman since early 2000 and trust it to realize my visual needs in film-making.
In later years Renderman changed from the Reyes to RIS rendering and this course will cover all the new features as well as Renderman 22 when its released. If you are trying to break into the VFX industry this is the course you should subscribe to
