2) The trace at 10:30 is incorrect. Particularly at 10:45, B should override dist["C"] with an updated distance of -5, as the negative edge weight would've been "better". This breaks the entire trace! But hopefully the point I'm trying to raise about weirdness with negative edge weights still stands. Thank you to Stephen Adams for pointing out the error.
