The For In Loop

The JavaScript for in statement loops through the properties of an Object:
Syntax
for (key in object) {
// code block to be executed
}

const student = {
name: 'Monica',
class: 7,
age: 12
}

// using for...in
for ( let key in student ) {

// display the properties
console.log(`${key} is ${student[key]}`);
}

Output

name is Monica
class is 7
age is 12

In the above program, the for...in loop is used to iterate over the student object and print all its properties.

The object key is assigned to the variable key.
student[key] is used to access the value of key.

The for..of loop in JavaScript allows you to iterate over iterable objects (arrays, sets, maps, strings etc).
JavaScript for...of loop

The syntax of the for...of loop is:

for (element of iterable) {
// body of for...of
}

Here,

iterable - an iterable object (array, set, strings, etc).
element - items in the iterable

const students = ['John', 'Sara', 'Jack'];

// using for...of
for ( let element of students ) {

// display the values
console.log(element);
}
Output

John
Sara
Jack

In the above program, the for...of loop is used to iterate over the students array object and display all its values.
