This video is to demonstrate to integrate google cloud products with Oracle E-Business Suite. This is to showcase the power of bringing cloud computing power into Oracle E-Business Suite Application.

Oracle's E-Business Suite (also known as Applications/Apps, EB-Suite/EBS, or "E-Biz") consists of a collection of enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), and supply-chain management (SCM) computer applications either developed or acquired by Oracle.
The software utilizes Oracle's core Oracle relational database management system technology. Significant technologies incorporated into the applications include the Oracle database technologies, (engines for RDBMS, PL/SQL, Java, .NET, HTML and XML), the "technology stack" (Oracle Forms Server, Oracle Reports Server, Apache Web Server, Oracle Discoverer, Jinitiator and Sun's Java).
The Oracle E-Business Suite provides a set of financial applications used internationally in businesses. Oracle Corporation groups these applications into "suites", which it defines as sets of common, integrated applications designed to execute specific business processes.

Oracle Financial refers to the closely related financial modules such as:

Oracle Assets
Oracle General Ledger
Oracle Payables
Oracle Receivables
Oracle Cash Management
Oracle Tabs
The key business processes enabled by the Financial Applications include:

Procure-to-Pay business process flow involving activities such as procurement, purchasing, making payment to Suppliers and subsequent accounting.
Order-to-Cash business process flow involves activities such as Customer Orders, Order fulfillment, receiving payment from Customers & subsequent accounting.

Prerequisites for setting up the environment,

1. Install Python 2.7
2. Install PIP
3. Install google-cloud-storage client library
4. Download Google Cloud Platform Sample code
5. Register for google cloud free trial account, if you don't have account

Steps

1. Create service account with project owner role in your cloud account and download authentication json key locally

2. Transfer locally saved json key into sever location. This json key will be used for invoking google cloud API

4. Login to server

5. Set environment variable GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS to json key file path

6. download google cloude sample scripts from the following location

5. execute cloud storage script snippets.py from python-docs-samples/storage/cloud-client

snippets.py upload Bucket_Name Source_File_Name_and_Location Destination_File_Name
