How to Use Find & Replace in Excel - Tutorial

Excel tutorial on how to use Find & Replace in Excel to save time when making edits in your spreadsheet.

In addition to using Find and Replace in Excel to edit text, numbers or characters you can also use it to edit or replace formulas and functions as well as formatting. We go over examples of each of these in this tutorial.

We also go over how to find & replace question marks ? and asterisks * .

The question mark and asterisk are used as Wildcard characters in Excel. You would normally use these special characters to substitute a letter or character you are unsure of.

This makes it tricky when you're trying to Find and Replace a question mark or asterisk. Watch as we work through how to find & replace these wildcard characters.
