In this video, I show tips for finding wordPress themes using themeforest.
When searching for premium WordPress themes on ThemeForest keep this in mind:
The following things can be changed...
- Fonts
- Colors
- Pictures
- Text & Image Content
Look at the structure of the website...
- Where is the navigation menu
- Does it have a slider and what is it like? Full width or boxed?
- And do I have photos that are large enough to accomodate the space?
- Some templates include a package comparison or price section, if that’s important for you it’s something to keep an eye out for.
All of these templates are designed to contain all of the features that are available on the template.
Remember that you do not have to use every single section that they show.
What pages to look at in a template?
- Homepage
- Bottom page footer
- About Page - This is usually the plainest page of the site
- Blog - Do you like your blog posts in staggered boxes or stacked regularly?
