Astrology and religion = Astrotheology - Part 1 of 3

The connection between religion and astrology has always been present and factual, although it is usually hidden from the public eye. Due to the urge for spiritual monopoly and religious/church dogma, over time, uninformed and dogmatic minds of the church started to write, talk, and thought wrongly about her. Nevertheless, throughout history, there have been, are, and will be, those who, out of knowledge and integrity, have pointed to the unbreakable link between astrology and religion. In the Abrahamic religions, astrology is largely condemned, while in the East this is not the case.

No religious/spiritual festival, ceremony, construction of a holy place, or moment to initiate a particular spiritual practice, begins without "consultation" with the heavens. In India, even the clergyman, in part, are engaged in astrology. Only in non-dogmatic spiritual systems, it is accepted as completely natural and implied, while in the religious west it is hidden. Fortunately, if you search hard enough, you can find landmarks in religious buildings around the world that unequivocally point to that link, no matter how much you avoided talking about it.
