The MAJOR issue here is that this hotel is being promoted as a 4-Star Hotel – charging 4-Star rates – and it is MOST DEFINITELY NOT. They have some nerve trying to pawn-off this hotel as 4-Stars, when the HILTON's shining example of 4-Star quality is literally 200 feet away.
Any independent review written about the SHERATON UNIVERSAL CITY that RAVES about this place is either BOUGHT or purposely misleading...OR...the reviewer has low standards, is NOT well-traveled, is NOT very observant...OR any combination of the above. The video proof CLEARLY speaks for itself.

AND unfortunately you must ignore TRIPADVISOR as they've somehow infiltrated their system to supress negative reviews. Yelp barely holding onto a 2.5 Star rating – TripAdvisor 4 stars. Hmmm...

UPDATE (3/5/18): I've been permanently banned from the SHERATON UNIVERSAL HOTEL over this critique. (As though I'd seriously ever want to ever stay there...pretty funny)
BUT the takeaway is they never ONCE attempted to apologize or explain any of these issues. Not even while I was there at the time!! Why? Because they can't – it's inexcusable and indefenseable. And that lack of a professional and appropriate response says it all.
NOT ONE email...text or call. NO ONE....NO explanation...ZERO...just a smug email from the Sheraton Universal Hotel management essentially saying you're banned for life. Par for the course.
