BUBBLE AGAIN

There's a gold rush buzzing in the ether once more,
They promise again we'll rise up from the bottom floor.
A startup's name has a solid "AI" inside,
But in reality, it's the same old simple scam, worldwide.
An investor gives, without asking a thing,
Only in the presentation does it gleam with a holographic ring.
We're selling hot air once again, only now it's resold —
With a sauce of "neural networks" and academic degrees bold.

Bubble again! It's growing, it's blinding with its lights.
We're all inside, we're all slaves to these holographic plights.
Bubble again! Two orders of magnitude more costly.
But it will burst the same — and leave everyone broken, mostly.

Processors are burning, megawatts are spent,
So our "AI" can compose us sonnets, a chatbot's lament.
It talks with genius, but its meaning is nil,
It's a statistical parrot, adorned with a golden quill.
And we believe it, we scream: "It's a new era, a breakthrough!"
And carry billions to the holy altar, shiny and new.
But behind the silicon's gleam, there's a void and a scam —
A digital pyramid for new "hype-infested" jungles, ma'am.

Bubble again! It's dazzling, it's mighty and divine.
We're all inside, we all believe in its rainbow-colored shine.
Bubble again! Two orders of magnitude deeper the fall.
And darker the shadow from its demise and thrall.

But in all of this, I have found my own peace —
I'm no prophet, no guru, just the local "odd" release.
I watch the hysteria, clicking my notebook's keys,
Where it's written in black and white: "Don't work with these."
Let them conquer worlds with their AI, let them soar,
My "trivial CPU" is what I adore —
It doesn't consume extra megawatts of might,
But delivers an honest, non-simulative fact, shining bright.
