Every year I would see the St. Patrick’s Day parade in New York City on 5th Ave by sitting on a hill in Central Park, probably around 64th street, where I could see all of the beautiful colors and music, the massive claves I wish I were blessed with instead of my chicken legs and the overwhelming sense of love and pride everyone had. This year I tried to remember all the amazing things I’ve experienced on that day and decided to make an arrangement and perform a piece that is not only one of my mother’s favorite songs but a song that helps me escape reality. Here is a song called Danny Boy.
