For the first time you can now raise your plantation shutters with the Comfotex system. Yes, I did say raise your plantation shutters! You'll get the look of a traditional plantation shutter with a nice clearview tilt bar on the back of the shutter and standard 3 ½" louvers. This clearview tilt bar enhances your view since there is not a standard tilt rod in the front.
The exclusive "no panel" composite plantation shutter design will allow for an expansive unobstructed view with up to 40% more view than a conventional composite plantation shutter.
This product allows you to open shutters that may be obstructed by furniture or other furnishings. This can be a big deal when you want to open windows to let the fresh air in. The composite design resists warping, chipping and fading so these are a great solution throughout the house especially in high moisture areas like kitchens and bathrooms.
Another nice feature of the shutter is the top view privacy clip which allows you to open up louvers at any position you like. There is no need for a fixed divider rail, you choose the location each and every time. This is great when you want that natural light filtering into your space, but you also want privacy. This is a great feature for bedrooms, family rooms and kitchens.
