In this video, we will show you how to change your gmail password.

Most security experts suggest to change password multiple times a year. Some experts even suggest to think of your password as a passphrase. A passphrase is a collection of common words combined together randomly into a phrase, and is kept generally longer for added security.

Let’s say you have logged in your gmail account and want to change the password. We will be show two ways through which you would be able to do that. Let’s get Started.

On the main page, click on the settings icon on the top right corner and click on the "See all Settings" button.

Once the settings page opens up, move to the "Accounts and Import" tab and over here, click on the "Change Password" option.

You would be required to sign in your account once again for verification. After that, you would be redirected to the Change password screen.

Here, you can set the new password which should be a minimum of eight characters.

Once done, enter the same password in the "confirm new password" field and click on the change button here.

With that done, the password for your Gmail account would be changed.

Another way to change the password is by move to your Google Account from the main page here. Once the Google Account main page opens up, move to the security tab, scroll down and click on the “Password” option here.

Like before, you would be required to sign in your account once again for verification. After that, you would be redirected to the screen from where you can change your password.
