So, dear students, let us understand first, what is salt hydrolysis.
Salt Hydrolysis is breaking down of salt in presence of water. Hydrolysis is done only that part of the salt which comes from a weak acid or weak base. Salt hydrolysis is a reaction in which one of the ion or both the ions from a salt reacts with water.
In a particular salt, Anion comes from Acid and Cation always comes from Base.
