This is a review of the Samsung TU8000 4K smart TV. In addition to a thorough review I also perform an unboxing of the product and show you how to setup the legs of the TV as well as assemble the cable management kit that does a great job of hiding the wires behind the TV.

Once the TV is fully assembled I go through the setup and configuration process where the local WiFi connection within the home is setup among other configurations including the Amazon Alexa and Google assistant voice services.

I also go through the Samsung TU8000 4K smart TV menu settings where I showcase the large library of preinstalled applications as well as where you can find more applications to create your own custom list within your menu.

There are also a ton of other really cool features that the Samsung TU8000 4K smart TV comes with including an ambient mode that optimizes the TV viewing experience according to the amount of light in the room as well as a background mode that you can adjust to blend your TV's backdrop with the color of your wall so that slideshows of your favorite picture collection pops out even more.

Samsung has even gone a step further by finally improving the look and feel of their smart remote that is thinner, sleeker and has less buttons but comes with more functionality including a built in microphone for those voice voice services like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

There is also a cool tap feature whereby one can easily show media that is playing on their Samsung Galaxy device such as a phone or tablet on the Samsung TU8000 4K smart TV by simply tapping the device on the size or top of the TV.

A review is not complete unless I showcase some great 4K gameplay from the Playstation 4 Pro that shows the 120MHz screen refresh rate capability of this great and affordable TV.
