COREL VIDEO STUDIO 2020 REVIEW by David Silvercloud. When you install a Corel product you automatically install software that will push ADVERTISING TO YOUR DESKTOP from Corel. There is no way to stop it, completely, except by disconnecting from the internet. That should be TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO. Removing the push ad application WILL NOT STOP IT. Throw the videostudio software in the garbage and look for another product. That's MY opinion and I'm sticking with it. I will NEVER buy another Corel product. Butch hasn't mastered the editor, yet, but found it easy enough to plow right in and figure things out going along. The good feature is an extra application that lets you record two video sources, one of which can be your screen. The BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD, BAD thing is you must go into your settings to turn off advertisements that will pop up on your desktop when you are connected to the internet. Just like an auto update but it's advertising. You can try to uninstall the apps that seem to cause it, or throw Video Studio in the garbage and never buy another Corel product so long as you live. I give the product a 3 out of 5 because of the disgusting pop up ads that come with it to your desktop. Yup... ads directly to your desktop. You can disconnect your computer from the internet to stop it or destroy every Corel product that comes within 10 feet of you. Corel is not your friend. And, never, ever, ever consider Paint Shop from Corel. You'll be sorry when those desktop ads keep coming and coming and coming. You might destroy your computer to remove the evil Corel has infested you with.
