my friends all got tired
just before I got to arrive
and I tried to wake them
but they all got shitfaced tonight

I wish that were me
I wish I were unconsciously numb
cause being awake with myself
isn't any damn fun

so I stared at flowers
mispronounced their names at first glance
and wondered if when they're hurt
they give people one more chance

man, flowers are selfish
but when their feelings are just hurt
they suck it in laugh it out
cause flowers got a good heart

and I don't feel so great
I used to love but
all I do now is just hate

when flowers got anxious
I tried to tell them not to hate
and they bawled for hours
and just repeated "it's too late"

and flowers felt evil
they don't think they deserve my time
flowers tried alcohol
then they obviously died

but flowers are strong
sometimes they have a hard time to bloom
maybe it's the temperature
or all this eternal gloom

but flowers will glance at me
and they'll replace my damn name
Rogéria they said
and that is completely okay

cause I'm a human
no pain is a start
I feel empty
but I feel my heart

flowers told me
I deserve a trillionth chance
I may be human
but I deserve a fucking chance

at times I feel nothing
courage and cowardice get mixed
mistaking nooses for hope
replacing help with a fix

and I'm surrounded by flowers
and flowers all surround me
flowers embraced my solitude
until they didn't look happy

all i do is scurry
away from sunny days
cause i'm too busy worrying
if i should say i'm sorry
