The Technopolis we're traveling to is in the Ocean. If you have the Speech skill, you can convince a captain to take you there for free. There will also be a pirate boss coming up.

[ 4:22 ] Boss: Doom Captain (Purist)

If you have the Shaman class, you will have a pre-battle option that allows you to kill the mooks with a tidal wave.

In the Technopolis, make note of the terminals that require the MO Disc. These have lore!

You'll be given a choice to either smack the boss or talk to it. Of course, this will affect party member influence, but it also affects something else.

[ 23:47 ] Boss: Skynet (Purist)

If you whacked the boss in the previous cutscene, it'll start the battle stunned. Be sure everyone has over 100 HP, since it has 1000 Pinpricks.

Be sure to examine the spot where the boss stood to get the MO Disc, and then backtrack and read those terminals. For some reason, the MO Disc disappears from your inventory.

The next area we need to go to the the Pyramids. Be sure to save before activating wall switches, since some of them can cause game overs. Save before the boss, since once you beat it, you'll be railroaded into the ending of the Act.

[ 53:03 ] Boss: Phoenix (Purist)

Summon Undine is great here, especially when the boss summons its mooks. However, you may not have Freeze Bomb yet, though you probably won't need it.
