Building a Bamboo Gazebo смотреть онлайн

Hey, guys! In this video I'm going to be building a large gazebo from bamboo, repurposed metal, tape, zip ties, and a tarp. The gazebo measured out to 18' by 10 1/2'. We have purchased measured gazebos twice in the past and they only lasted a few years before they rusted or blew down in storm, and those are so so expensive. I wanted to created a new much larger gazebo on a much tighter budget. I build this whole gazebo for under $40, and most of that cost was just the cost of the tarp. I filmed this video back in October of 2022. This structure survived a hurricane and has been up for four months with no problems. I have actually never had a bamboo structure fail. I had a bamboo tunnel arch, which was my very first bamboo project I ever built, and it lasted 3 years and would have lasted more but I disabled it and repurposed the bamboo poles for a different project that I will be releasing a video on soon.

I really love building things from raw materials and doing everything by hand. I cut all the bamboo poles with just a hand saw, so no electricity needed. This gazebo really gave me Gilligan's Island vibes as I was building it, and I guess that's sort of the vision I'm going for in the backyard, a tropical Florida food paradise.

This video isn't so much a "How-to" as much is it is how *I* built a bamboo gazebo. I'm certainly not an expert, just a girl with a passion for eclectic gardening and DIYing as much as possible.
