Ditch Criteria Set
1. Using the CREATEFEATURELINES command, we create a Breakline from a polyline. Next, we apply the _AeccSetFeatureGrade command to the created feature line ,which sets the elev. between two vertexes (the vertexes are not necessarily adjacent) .
2. By launching the "Elev. Editor", we can check the correctness of the Elev. Input and / or correct the slope in any section.
3. Widen the bottom of the ditch by 5 cm on each side, this is necessary to accommodate the material for strengthening the ditch (ATTENTION! For clarity, I did not lower the mark of the bottom of the ditch by the thickness of the soil layer!!!) .
4. Turn on the "Profiling Tools" and use the _AeccGradingTools command to build a surface with the desired location at an arbitrary Elev. (1). This auxiliary surface is necessary for constructing the line of intersection of the slope of the surface with the original surface of the earth (This operation is necessary in those cases . when the drainage system is built before the construction of the embankment begins).
5. Using the _MinimumDistBetweenSurfaces command, we find the minimum distance between the surfaces. In our case, this is the intersection line of the necessary surfaces
6. Next, using the usual profiling tools, we build the slope of the exit to the terrain.
