I know the common question is, "Which of these presets is the right one?" and honestly the real answer is, "Each of them at different times." As Silent says, these were the color filters applied in the scenes they were able to analyze, so each one is the exact color grading as seen in Human Revolution. HR changes the filter based on the location to set/enhance the mood, but Silent couldn't find a way to correctly replicate those settings dynamically in the Director's Cut, so you'll have to select or make a color filter that applies consistently.

Based on the RenderDoc grabs shown on Silent's blog and on Adrian's page, I'm guessing the presets come from the following locations:
Preset 1 - Intro scene
Preset 2 - Secret basement of Picus
Preset 3 - Detroit exterior during the riots

Personally I played through with Preset 1 and forgot it was on and it felt great, but if you want the gold filter you "remember" and to really get the ultimate gold experience, use Preset 2. Preset 3 tones down the reds and pushes the yellows and greens, which to me gives it a more dystopian feel than 1.
